Snoopy will return to television with Apple

In recent weeks, news regarding Apple's future streaming video service have intensified, and almost every day we show you some information about it. The latest news related to this new Apple bet is found in the animated series Snoopy, a series that will return to television by Apple.

Previously, we have talked about the signing of Tamara Hunter from Sony and who will take care of supervise the casting of the series that Apple plans to produce. Also from the new series directed by JJ Abrams and starring Jennifer Garner and the agreement reached with him director of several films in the Fast and Furious franchise.

Apple has reached an agreement with DHX Media to produce new content based on the characters created by Charles M. Schultz, Snoopy, thus confirming that one of the priorities for Apple is to create content for all audiences, information that might not be entirely true if we take into account another of the future projects that Apple is negotiating and that has to Richard Gere as the main protagonist.

The last official appearance of Snoopy and his gang was the 2015 film The Panuts Movie, a film that passed without pain or glory through theaters, probably due to the discontinuity that the character has had in recent years, since not much has been lavished to say either on the small screen, which would have allowed him to be known also by the little ones.

The launch of Apple's video streaming service is scheduled for March 2019 at the earliest, although if we consider that in recent years, both the new products and the services of the Cupertino-based company have delayed their launch, we would not be surprised if we had to wait another year.
