Some 15 ″ MacBook Pro Users Report Sound Issues

The MacBook Pro introduced last fall was designed from the ground up. This is causing more of a headache for the company, with incidents in its equipment, which are difficult to detect in the design phase, as well as in product testing. In relation to these incidents, in recent days many users complain of sound problems in MacBook Pro, specifically 15 ″. There is no exact definition of the problem: Some comment as if the sound is clogged or obstructed by something and others describe it as if you slowly press a plastic bottle

Apple is aware of the problems, as in several forums from the company itself there are several references to these problems. With normal use, the sound of the Mac behaves correctly. But when we require more intensive tasks, such as playing games, or playing videos, the commented sound problems appear.

Quickly the Mac world has begun to comment on this. Everything seems to indicate that the problem arises from the screen hinges . Around them there are plastic elements assembled with glue in some cases. The heat to which this part is subjected, together with the greater weight of the 15 ″ screen compared to the 13 ″ screen would explain this particular problem.

I think the problem is actually with the hinges, as there is a bit of natural flex in the aluminum back of the screen. I think the heat has affected the glue and the plastic screen assembly.

Another user comments:

I am able to constantly play the sound by pressing right at the bottom of the display assembly.

However, Apple is studying each case individually, because in some cases it is due to wear caused by the user, and in other cases it seems like a manufacturing problem.
