There are no changes in terms of general aesthetics apart from the San Francisco font and this is something that does not affect the performance of applications that can maintain their own font and others, but some may fail or not work at all well after updating so from here we recommend checking the updates of the applications that we use the most, check if they work in OS X El Capitan before updating. I have a problem with Preview to display jpg photos larger than 7MB. The problem started after upgrading to OS X 10.11
