Some of the UK Apple Stores seem to be getting back to normal

United Kingdom

In March 2020 our lives changed and at that time it was thought that it would be a matter of "little". However, almost two years later, we continue to suffer the consequences of a virus that was previously unknown. The so-called COVID-19 has evolved a lot during its first appearance and when it seemed that things were going for the better, a new variant called Ómicron has once again shaken the foundations. They returned to the initial measures to restrict commercial visits, for example, including in the Apple Store. However, at least in the UK, it seems that things are back to how they were four months ago.

With all the comings and goings that this pandemic is having, the damn pandemic for the record, we don't know if this news is good, it will be permanent or temporary. Many experts are already preparing us to live with the virus for life in an endemic way. However, we still have to be taking many security measures that honestly prevent many of us from doing things as we really would like. Online shopping is very good. but being able to go and taste, touch and ask is something that is missed.

The Apple Store once again restricted visits due to new infections and further expansion of the Omicron variant of COVID-19. Therefore, if you wanted to go to a store to get information or buy, you had to do it by appointment. In the UK this is already changing. Apple is opening several of its Apple Stores across the country to walk-in customers.

Apple updated its store listings for 17 Apple Stores in the UK. This means that they can again receive customers without an appointment. Although there are a total of 38 Apple Stores in the UK, At the moment this will only be possible in 17 of them. It is true that the measure will be implemented to all of them as soon as the situation allows it.

Stores that no longer require an appointment to visit consist of:

  • Basingstoke
  • Bath
  • brindle cross
  • Bromley The Glades
  • Brighton
  • Bristol Cribbs Causeway
  • Kent Bluewater
  • Lakeside, Essex
  • Liverpool
  • London Covent Garden
  • London Regent Street
  • Plymouth
