Sonos welcomes the HomePod with a curious Spotify playlist

The speaker manufacturer Sonos, with whom Apple has been working together in recent years, has been and will be one of the main affected by the launch of the second Apple speaker on the market.

To try to grab the attention of the media and usersDays before the launch of the HomePod, the firm launched an offer with which we could get 2 Sonos One for $ 349, the same price as the Home Pod. But the Sonos movements do not end here, since it has created a curious playlist on Spotify with a message.

This playlist, called Welcome to Party Mix, is composed of 21 songs, each of which has been selected according to its title. In this way, if we consecutively read all the titles of this playlist that Sonos has created in Spotify, we find the following text:

Hello / Apple / Something About Us / Together / Feels Right / Even Though / You're Crazy / For This / Home / POD / Remember / Two Is Better Than One / Just Playing / It's a Party / Everybody's Coming To My House / Even You / Come As You Are / Fruit Machine / No Matter What You're Told / We're Going To Be Friends / Over Everything

Send messages via playlists on Spotify It is not a new phenomenon, Since in April of last year, it became a more than usual way of sending messages, due to the way in which Spotify playlists can be organized and displayed in a linear way both in the web version and through the app.

Although it was a fad, Sonos has used this curious avenue to send Apple a welcome messageAlthough to be more user-friendly I could have used an Apple Music list, but unfortunately, the possibility of organizing the songs is not easy as in Spotify.

It's clear that Sonos is seizing the opportunity with the launch of the HomePod to receive free advertising, a type of advertising that has no value, by most of the media that we talk about Apple, a strategy that will surely have served to make itself known among many users who are not willing to pay 349 euros for the speaker from Apple.
