Soon we will see a more powerful Mac mini: the Mac Studio

MacStudio

Apple is seeing how the sales of its Macs increase thanks to the revolution of the Apple silicon. A segment that has been stagnant for years, and thanks to the emergence of the new ARM processors, Macs have once again had an important presence in the computer market.

And it is going to take advantage of the "pull" by launching a new Mac. It is a High-performance Mac mini, more professional, to cater to those who want a powerful Mac connected to a display other than an iMac.

9to5Mac has had access to certain information from Apple, and explains that in Cupertino they plan to launch a new range of high-performance Mac minis, called «MacStudio«. It will not be to replace the current Mac mini, but it will be a new range of Macs without a screen, with more powerful hardware than the current Mac mini, a kind of "Mac mini Pro".

Apple is developing two new models in this range. Codenamed "J375," they'll probably go by the brand name Mac Studio. One has the chip Max M1 (the same as the MacBook Pro 2021) and the other a variant with an even more powerful processor than the current M1 Max.

Said filtration coincides with the one already commented on in another article about the project of a new Apple screen, curiously named «Apple StudioDisplaySo you don't have to be Sherlock Holmes to guess that Apple will co-launch Mac Studio with a corresponding "Studio Display." Everything squares.

Bearing in mind that the next Apple event is just around the corner (next March 8) and there have been few leaks of Esteve's new Mac Studio, it is most likely that Craig Federighi will show us at the WWDC 2022 of the month of June. We will have to wait.
