Sources indicate that Apple has stopped producing models iMac 4K of 512 GB and 1 TB of SSD

iMac

We may have a 4k iMac refresh sooner than we expected. According to certain sources close to the supply chains, Apple could be ceasing to manufacture certain models of iMac 4k. Specifically those of 21,5 inches with 512GB and 1TB of SSD hard drive. It is for this reason that it is believed that a renewal of these models could be closer than, that they are finally eliminated from the market for any other reason.

According to certain  sources close to supply chains and which the communication channel has echoed AppleInsider, it is more than likely that the Californian company is discontinuing the 4-inch 21,5k iMac with 512 GB hard drive capacities and 1 TB SSD. The most probable thing is that it is due to a future update of this equipment before thinking that Apple has decided not to release this type of model in particular again.

Although it is not known what is the reason why the production of these specific models has been stopped and it is believed that it is due to an update, any reason could be the right one. We will have to wait and see if Apple confirms this rumor. We do not believe that it will release any special statement regarding it, but we will have the answer when we see if an update of these models is really presented.

What you do have to keep in mind is that both models are not available right now. on the Apple website. So only the 256 GB SSD model and the 1 TB Fusion Drive model are currently available. They are still available although we will have to wait a long time to receive them. Therefore we must think that the information provided by the sources consulted, yes they could be right.
