Spark email client updated to take advantage of what's new in macOS Mojave

In a few hours, Apple will release officially and for everyone, the final version of macOS Mojave, the new version of Apple's operating system for Mac computers. Unlike previous versions, this new edition is not compatible with all Macs released before 2012, so it can be a problem for users who want to enjoy the latest version of macOS.

The lifespan of Macs has increased considerably in recent yearsAlthough, of course, Apple has to start limiting the number of devices compatible with this version in order to encourage renewal. Taking into account some of the computers that have been able to enjoy macOS High Sierra with 9 years on the market, Apple's move is more than justifiable.

While we wait for Apple to release the update of the final version of macOS Mojave, as my colleague Javier has commented, some developers have already begun to release the respective updates for take advantage of the news that comes from the hand of the new version of macOS, in addition to avoiding compatibility problems.

What's new in Spark version 2.0.13

  • The Spark mail client integrates with the most used conference calling services such as Google Hangouts, Google Meet, Zoom and GoToMeeting so that we can add conference links to events without having to leave the application.
  • Support for the new dark mode, one of the main novelties of macOS Mojave.
  • The preferences section has been redesigned, so that it is much easier to find the configuration options we need.
  • The guys at Spark, of course, have taken the opportunity to correct some of the problems that the application presented in the previous update, something that is undoubtedly appreciated.

Spark is available for download completely free of charge and it is an excellent option to Mail, if the native macOS mail client does not cover our needs. In addition, it also has a version for iOS, therefore, we will always have our accounts synchronized on both devices.
