The Cupertino firm is willing to fight for the rights of the black community and will even launch a limited edition Apple Watch this February in the colors of the Pan-African flag. Apple will celebrate Black History Month in style this coming month and this exclusive watch will be on sale during the month, last February they will take it off the market.
El Apple Watch Series 6 Black Unity Collection was announced in the Apple's own website this afternoon along with the rest of the campaign. The watch that adds an exclusive strap also shows a free and unique watchface that will be available to all users who have an Apple Watch.
Apple got serious about fighting racism
The events that happened a few months ago in the United States with the Black Lives Matter movement, created after Jorge Floyd's death at the hands of the police, raised blisters around the world and at Apple. Now what they want is maximum support for the largest possible organizations that combat racism and in Cupertino they will offer support to six of them, among which in addition to Black Lives Matter are the NAACP foundation and the European Network against Racism.
The Apple Watch Series 6 Black Unity will have a price of 399 dollars for the version with GPS and for the cellular variant a price of 499. We are going that the price is exactly the same as the base models but add this new strap with these colors and any Black History Month award as the inscription on the back of the watch itself.
