If you are one of the Mac users who was waiting for the game of the Star Trek saga, you are in luck, and the version of Star Trek Online is now available. A few days ago we already have the version of the Star Trek Online beta game available for all users who are on the Mac platform and this game was available only for PC users and now it lands finally available to both operating systems.
This version of the original Atari and Cryptic Studios title was released for PC users during January of last year, so it has been available for PC users for quite some time. At the last convention held by Cryptic Studios in San Francisco, the arrival of the game in its Mac version was announced.
The game allows us to use as controls any pad or Joystick that is compatible with our Mac, in addition to allowing connection via Bluetooth. To be able to play fluently, the mimic requirements that are asked for its correct operation are:
- OS X Lion or higher
- 2,4 GHz Intel Core or 3GHz Xeon processor
- 4GB of RAM
- 10 GB of disk space
- Intel HD3000 / Nvidia 9600M / AMD HD2600 Graphics with 256MB + VRAM or better
In addition to these requirements regarding our machine, Star Trek Online requires that we register on its website with a username, our email address and have the version of the game downloaded for our Mac.
