Steve Jobs Movie Gets Multiple Golden Globe Nominations

Golden Globes

The latest film about the life of Steve Jobs has passed without pain or glory through American cinemas and theaters. Shortly after its premiere, the production company was forced to reduce the rooms where it was showing from about 2200 to just over 300 spread throughout the country.

The two weekends prior to the premiere of the film, the producer decided to screen it in theaters in Los Angeles and New York, codrying good reviews and collection according to expectations, but once it officially hit billboards across the country, it was enchanting when the stark reality of this film was seen.

During the first weekend, lThe film ranked seventh in gross, generating revenues of $ 7,5 million. From there, the collection and the public went downhill and without brakes, until finally it was withdrawn from most of the theaters in the country. The criticisms that came directly from Apple were not good at all and maybe that can influence the opinion of Apple users.

Leaving aside if what we could see in the film agrees with reality or Aaron Sorkin exaggerated some aspects of Jobs's figure. Despite the low collection, the film just received three Golden Globe nominations that will be delivered next January 10.

Among the nominees we find the protagonist Michael Fassbender as Steve Jobs with Kate Winslet. But the film's screenwriter Aaron Sorkin has also received a nomination for best screenplay. Danny Boyle said a few days ago that he wanted to get into the race to enter the nominations for the next Academy Oscars, and for now being nominated for the Golden Globes is the first step to achieve it.
