StreamCloud, a light but interesting app for SoundCloud users

SoundCloud

It is very obvious that SoundCloud does not have a presence in the music scene of iTunes or Spotify, but it has managed to find a niche where it works wonderfully: that of independent productions. There are more and more artists indie who bet on SoundCloud to show their creations -especially in the world of electronic music-, so having a client of this platform on hand can be interesting.

Fair

StreamCloud is not the typical application that offers us everything and that comes to the top of options, but it bets on the opposite. In its single window It shows us the two options we have: listen to music from our stream (artists or users we follow) or play songs from our favorites list.

It is not an application designed therefore to discover or to organize content, but simply for reproductions of already known music. It also incorporates a successful mini-player that is displayed by pressing the icon in the menu bar, with which we can control what is playing more quickly.

The application is completely free and does not contain any type of advertising, so personally you must go to the list of essentials as soon as you like SoundCloud. It is obvious that it could include many improvements, and perhaps the developer could consider adding them in an additional paid version or with an alternative model, but for now what it offers us is more than enough considering that we will not have to pay anything at all.
