Do you want to see your photos updated instantly via streaming, as a Mac screensaver? today in Soy de Mac, we will see how to activate this option. It is an option that we have in OS X Mountain Lion, if youWe have the iPhoto application installed.

Latest versions of iPhoto (11+) and OS X (Mountain Lion) support photos via streamingThis means that we can have a screen saver on our Mac, in which the photos taken at the moment from our iPhone are automatically displayed.

It is not necessary to copy the images to the computer or put them in folders manually ... we just need an iCloud account. If you still do not have an account, we recommend that you get one not only to perform these types of options, iCloud has other options such as saving backups and other advantages.

The first and most important thing for this to work is to enable the gallery on our iOS device:

We came in - Settings / iCloud / My Photo Stream and we activate it

The second step is to activate the photos via streaming on our Mac OS X.

To do this we open iPhoto and click on Photos in streaming (we give the blue button) we activate it; It is important to remember that for it to work, you need to have the same iCloud account on iOS and OS X

iPhoto will save all the photos that we do with the iOS device, on our Mac.

And now we only have the third and most important step, choose the Photo Gallery that we want to use as a screen saver on the Mac. We already have iPhoto ready to receive the photos by streaming and the iOS device ready to send them.

We go to the menu of the  / System Preferences and select Desktop and Screensavers, click on Screensaver, we select the reproduction style we want for the images and click on the drop-down Source. The upper part of the menu that has been displayed appears Recent iPhoto events, We select the event that we want in the case of having the gallery named or on the dates if you did not name them.
