That the Ted Lasso series has been one of the biggest hits to hit Apple TV +, no one can doubt it. I would even dare to say that has been more successful that one of the most important bets of Apple for its service of video in streaming The Morning Show.
As expected, it was a matter of time before the first nominations arrived. According to the boys of Deadline, the Ted Lasso series has been nominated for two United States Critics Awards in the Best Comedy and Best Comedy Actor categories.
The 2021 Critics Awards March will be held, although the public's considerations will last until February. As has become commonplace in recent years, both Netflix and HBO and Hulu (Disney) have swept most categories.
Ted Lasso will have to compete for best comedy with:

Ted Lasso started filming the second season a few days ago. Before the start of the recordings of this second season, Apple had already announced an agreement for record a third season, third season that will be the last as announced by the creator of the series.
