Since the application is in the crosshairs of the Russian authorities, the truth is that we did not have such frequent updates and now after a few days it seems that everything is returning to normal in this great messaging application that is Telegram.
In the case of Macs, the official application was not updated since last May, specifically on the 29th and it seemed that it failed in some recharges or that those small errors that were corrected at the moment in Telegram would remain for the history of the app, but no, just yesterday the application was updated with several interesting improvements such as Enhanced previews with links, dark theme for macOS Mojave, or enhanced general search.
Telegram is still alive and very much alive
The attacks by the Russian authorities for not yielding in obtaining the data of the users or rather in their own messages, led us to think that the app would die in a short time and the application has really been lynched so that survive but have resisted. The application crashed more frequently or updates are not available as frequently but we can say that Telegram continues to work perfectly and with this new version 4.0 it improves a little more.
The new features add the ability to mark chats as read or unread, modify the media when editing our messages, the aforementioned dark theme (Dark Mode) for the new version of the macOS Mojave operating system and a good handful of security improvements and the stability of the application.
