Telegram for Mac already allows us to mark chats as read

Telegram has become for many users the main communication platform, not only among their friends and family, but also at work, thanks to the great versatility it offers us when using it on practically any device, something that It seems that we will never get to see with WhatsApp.

Telegram allows us to join groups or information channels, through which we can meet other people with the same tastes and be informed at all times of the news that interests us most. If we are targeted at a large number of groups and we cannot check everything that is published or written daily, Telegram allows us, after the last update, mark chats as read.

A few days ago, Telegram launched a new update for iOS and Android, in which it also added this functionality, a functionality that for all those of us who are subscribed to a large number of channels comes in handy, since if along of the day we have not been able to consult the notifications and we are lazy to do so at that time, we can mark them as read without having to enter the group, chat or channel and scroll to the last post.

Marking the messages as read in Telegram is a very simple process, but completely different from the one we can find in the application for iOS, since we only have to go to the chat or channel in question, click on the right button of the mouse and select the Mark as read option.

Next, we will see how the number of messages we had pending to read has completely disappeared from the chat or channel. The latest Telegram update occupies a little less than 40 MB and to update it, we just have to open the Mac App Store and click on Updates. If you are not enjoying it yet, then I will give you a link so that you can download it and join the podcast channel we do in collaboration with the guys from Actualidad iPhone.
