Our favorite instant messaging application Telegram has just received a new update incorporating two new functions that are more than interesting.
From now on, anyone who updates Telegram to version 3.12 for iPhone and iPad, will be able to edit the images that they are going to share without leaving the app, and even create new GIFs in a very simple way.
Telegram, getting better
There is no doubt that updating Messages for iOS 10 has made this native Apple app a serious rival to options of this type, however, Telegram still has a great advantage, and that is that it is multiplatform which allows us to also communicate with users of other operating systems, mainly Android.
Telegram is the best instant messaging application that exists today. Yes, I know that it is a personal opinion but the truth is that it has very useful functions that the rest lack, including Apple's Messages app and the almighty WhatsApp. When you start to use Telegram seriously together with your friends and family, you start to participate in group chats, you discover channels that are of interest to you, you even create your own channels, you discover the mentions within the groups that allow the mentioned person « take for granted, you use the function of responding directly to a message within a group, and much more, then, it is when you really realize that Telegram is the best, and at that moment you ask yourself «why not the will I have started using it before? ».
Well, despite the many advantages that Telegram offers over its many and varied competitors, its developers do not give up, and they continue to work constantly so that the application continues to gain in functions and features that make it even better than it is. What is it. I think that is precisely the secret of Telegram, that its creators think that it can always be better than it is, and for that reason every time it is a little better even if possible.
After this almost endless roll that I was dying to drop somewhere, and after having thrown the hint to Apple (hopefully someone in Cupertino would read it and make the decision that I should take once and for all), I am going to tell you the news that Telegram brings us in its version 3.12 for iOS (and of course, also for users of Android devices).
What's new on Telegram?
As I have already told you, there are three new features that the new Telegram update incorporates:
- New image editor.
- Creation of personalized GIFs.
- Featured Stickers
Perhaps the most interesting thing is the new image editor, which allows to add masks to our photos before sharing them, choosing from the wide variety that already exists. But even better is that since it is an open platform, we can load our own masks, in case we create them or obtain them by other means. Simply enter the / newmasks command to load your own mask.
Regarding the use of stickers, we now have a featured stickers tab that we can use more quickly.
Finally, and although I have left it for the end, we have the second great news of Telegram for iOS. From now on we will be able create our own GIFs, and these will be added to the endless collection of GIFs that are available in the application.
To make use of this feature, it will be enough with record a video from the app itself, taking care to press the mute button. In this way the video we have recorded will be shared as a GIF.
In conclusion, Telegram has surprised us, once again, with a good update that will make our conversations gain much more in wealth and of course, that they will be much more fun and entertaining. If you still do not use Telegram, you cannot imagine what you are missing.
