If you use your Mac daily, it is very possible that you have ever encountered the mythical "Error -10810", as you can see in the screenshot that accompanies this post.
This error is usually caused by a Finder crash, which sometimes occurs as a result of a bad network file transfer or improper unmount of a previously mounted volume.
To fix it (it's a fix, the real solution is to restart) just go to the Terminal and put a command, which will run a Finder in the background and give us back control over it.
/System/Library/CoreServices/Finder.app/Contents/MacOS/Finder &
Write it down because you are going to need it almost fixed sometime.
What if you restart the Finder ?, in Terminal:
killall Finder
You cannot close the Finder because it is not open, indeed, look at the image, "it cannot be opened"
incredible, great! thank you very much! 🙂
Hello, you know I have the same problem, but it does not let me do anything, it is completely stuck = (. I ask you please give me some idea how to solve this, if you do not let me click on anything, just turn on and show the error, but I can't click anything.
I don't know how to go to the terminal either, it's the first time this has happened to me, and I'm super complicated because I have my degree thesis on my mac.
PLEASE HELP ME
I can't even open the terminal….
