Apple TV App Store stops showing installed apps

The arrival of the fourth generation of Apple TV It was a true renovation of the old device that had been with us for almost three years, in which it had only received software updates, adding new channels, which in most of them were geographically limited to the United States, so it really continued to serve the same purpose, perform AirPlay from our iPhone or iPad to enjoy the content on a screen larger than the current one.

But the fourth generation device in addition to bringing its own application store, It has also brought us Siri, with which we can control almost all the elements of our Apple TV, in addition to helping us to search through the different streaming television services that we have contracted, such as Netflix, HBO, Hulu…. But it is not the only novelty, since the App Store of this device is receiving changes without prior notices.

Apple is testing the Apple TV app store and is starting to stop showing in the ranking of best apps by revenue, free and paid the applications that we have installed on our devices, something that is not making users very funny. While it is true that this change could be a solution when it comes to showing the applications available for Apple TV, it is a function that confuses users since they do not know if they really have an app installed unless they search for it in the device.

As usual Apple has not commented anything about itPerhaps because it is conducting tests to see how users take it, but after being in operation for several days it seems that the feedback they are receiving is not good. In addition, the developers are not very happy with the operation of the store, where featured applications are shown only a few days instead of a full week as announced, but they are also having problems when it comes to monetizing the applications that they have to buy within. as it is increasingly difficult to find profitability opportunities in applications.
