Apple announces availability of Apple Watch for the second wave in Italy, Mexico, Spain, South Korea, Singapore, Switzerland and Taiwan for next June 26 at Apple Retail Stores and at authorized stores for the sale of Apple products. The statement released by Apple's senior vice president of Operations, Jeff Williams and that we left after the jump, announces the launch of the watch for this second wave of countries.

This is the official statement from Williams:

The response to the Apple Watch has exceeded all our expectations and we are excited to make it available to more customers from different parts of the world. We're also making great progress in serving backorders for Apple Watch, and we thank our customers for their patience. All orders placed in May, with the sole exception of the 42mm Space Black Stainless Steel Apple Watch with Space Black Link Bracelet, will ship to customers within two weeks. At that time, we will also start selling some models in our Apple Retail Stores.

In principle we think that Apple would tell us the date of the second wave at WWDC which is just around the corner, but obviously announcing it earlier allows the Cupertino people to have more room for other news on the keynote. As of today we have availability of the Apple watch in Australia, Canada, China, France, Germany, Hong Kong, Japan, United Kingdom and the United States, now we already have a date for the launch of the second batch.
