The Apple Watch with a tool to measure diabetes?

Heart Apple Watch

Some 4 years ago something similar was said with the same company Dexcom, on that occasion they already talked about the way in which users could obtain these readings with the Apple Watch. At Dexcom they have a technology that works with a number of tiny sensors that are inserted under the surface of the skin and they take blood samples from time to time. It is assumed that this would be similar for the measurement of our Apple Watch and with an app installed on the device, it would be possible to know the user's blood glucose levels and even a graph with the evolution of the data ...

The company's CEO kevin Sayer himself, explained to the media that they are close to obtaining the results of these years of work and in an interview he explains that the tool could be present in Apple Watch much earlier than we think. With the application that is being designed for the Apple Watch, the watch will show us the data collected and will draw a graph with its evolution over time, something unthinkable a while ago but with the arrival of the ECG and others we can already think that this tool is closer than ever.

In fact today the company Dexcom already has a product that is capable of monitoring data with the Apple Watch, the G6 Dexcom transmitter. In this case it would be something better according to Sayer, so we expect great news about it. Of course, what is not confirmed anywhere is the launch date, we do not know if it will be valid for the Apple Watch Series 4 onwards or it will directly be something optional that all users with diabetes will be able to obtain whatever Apple Watch they use. . What does seem clear is that both companies have something that is about to be launched on the market.
