Without a doubt, the audio quality has to go hand in hand - without having tried the Beats X personally - and it should be remembered that these new Beats add the W1 chip just like the AirPods themselves, so they add quality to the whole. It is true that in design they are totally different and it is that the simple fact that some have a cable and others do not, is already a big difference, but it must also be kept in mind that the Beats are charged directly from the headphones with a Lightning cable while AirPods charge from their box.
Another important detail in addition to the design of the two headphones is in the colors available, in this case the AiPods are only in white while The Beats X are found in black, blue, gray and white.
