With the arrival of the new Apple TV, details that went unnoticed in its presentation are beginning to come to light. One of the things that was missing is the optical audio output that the current Apple TV have and the new Apple TV does not have.

We all wondered how users who wanted to bring the signal to a Dolby Digital 5.1 sound system were going to be able to manage the audio output. which is what that optical audio output allowed us to do.

Those from Cupertino go further and a screenshot of one of the configuration windows of the new Apple TV in which it can be perfectly seen that the possibility of being able to send the audio signal has finally reached this device via Bluetooth to wireless speakers and Bluetooth headphones (from Beats in the case of Apple).

The truth is that it is news because now we can be using the Apple TV by sending the audio wirelessly, for example, to a Bluetooth headset. We can also inform you that if the previous optical output allowed to send the signal to a Dolby Digital 5.1 sound system, this time the possibilities increase and we can reproduce the sound of the Apple TV in a Dolby Digital 7.1 system.

I don't know about you, but I see a lot of potential in this change and that is that I have a led projector mounted in the room with an Apple TV and from now on when I acquire this new model I will finally be able to enjoy games and movies without disturbing the neighbors. Thanks Apple!
