After hundreds of protests it appears that the CISA (Cybersecurity Information Sharing Act) is a little closer to becoming a reality in the United States and is that it has been approved by the United States Senate by 74 votes in favor to 21 against. It may be that today You have not heard of this act, but what is clear is that one way or another it will affect us all.
It is an act on cybersecurity that would allow the United States government request information on mobile terminals that it deems appropriate.
As we have said, the Cybersecurity Information Sharing Act a new filter has passed, that of the United States Senate, and now it is waiting to be approved in the last instance by President Obama himself. This act has raised a great stir in the world of technology companies and it is that they would be obliged to supply data of the users they have in their services in case of need.
Companies like Apple will have the obligation to share their users' data in the event of a cyber-threat situation. However, all this goes against the policy that Apple currently has in place since they have said that before a blocked device nor can they do anything themselves by not having access to it for privacy.
All that is going to have to change as the CISA arrives at the port of President Obama. There have already been several companies that have spoken out against those that this act seeks and is that companies like Google, Amazon, Facebook, Apple or Microsoft think exactly the same.
