The evolution of macOS in a video of less than 2 minutes

When we talk about macOS we refer to all versions of the operating system of Apple's Macs and it is not so long ago that it was called OS X but before this name it was already known as macOS, so we have returned to the name of the past in the current version, macOS Sierra. And since we are talking about the past, we find ourselves browsing a video on YouTube that lasts a little less than two minutes, specifically 1:40 minutes, and offers us a review of all the OS that we have seen on our Macs.

The evolution in the Mac operating system has always been constant and we cannot say that the company strives year after year to improve the versions we have, but obviously not every year spectacular improvements can be added in terms of functions or interface, but over the years, especially the interface if it becomes the protagonist of videos like this. Without much more to say, the best thing is to see directly the video that they have created on the YouTube channel 4096:

This video does not focus on each of the versions in a powerful way, it is about seeing the evolution of the operating system itself over time and how it has changed since the first versions. Surely more than one of those present knows all these versions of macOS since the first that saw the light in 1985, but it is also certain that many others do not and these types of videos teach us some curious details of the advance such as the well-known "Dock" of macOS.

    Fuck what memories.
I bought my first Mac, the Classic in black and white (9 ″ screen) as soon as it was released, back in 1992, since then there have been 17 Macs that have passed through my hands, not counting iPods, iPhones, iPads and Apple TV.
    It was worth it.
