As the days go by, users who have been emboldened to install the first beta of macOS Mojave, we are checking which are the new functions and which have disappeared completely of the new version of macOS, a version that will arrive in its final version at the end of September, a few days after the launch, also of the final version, of iOS 12.
A few days ago, we published an article in which we informed you of one of the options that Apple had removed from macOS Mojave, the function that allows us configure Twitter and Facebook accounts on our team so that we can quickly share what we want natively through applications, without having to do it from the browser. It seems that it is not the only one.
Another option that has also disappeared with the launch of the first beta of macOS Mojave, we find it in the Back to My Mac feature, a function that due to its low popularity (due to its limited usefulness) seems to have been completely removed from the next version of macOS. It is also possible that, like the sharing options on social networks, they have only disappeared from the first beta.
The Back to My Mac feature allows Mac users connect securely over the Internet to another Mac. This function, which is part of iCloud, is used both to share files and the terminal screen. Although this function offers us a fantastic solution on paper, but the operation has never been as desired, and it seems that Apple has not wanted to waste time improving it.
Today, we can find other services that offer us the same functions but in a much more professional and optimized way, such as TeamViewer. In the next few days, we will continue to keep an eye on the macOS Mojave configuration options to see if we find new features or some of those that were already there, have disappeared.
The option to share files over the internet as if you were on your local network does not have teamviewer, at least with that ease. Although it always requires a connection with high upload and download speed.
