Apple is planning to build a visitor center on its new Campus 2, which will include a rooftop gazebo overlooking the main building, a cafeteria and a shop of 940 square meters, where visitors can see and buy all the new Apple products that have gone on sale.

The structure, like many other Apple stores, will be made of glass with a carbon fiber roof and large skylights. Stairs and elevators will take visitors to the viewing deck, where Apple employee offices in the ring-shaped building will be visible from there.

The current Apple campus once had a now closed Apple Store that sold clothing and sundries of the brand, but a dedicated visitor center with a shop selling all kinds of Apple products is totally new.

This Center dedicated to visits has been made known thanks to original documents presented to the City of Cupertino, that is, in April the Campus project was presented to obtain pre-approvals that included a mention of a visitor center in a glass building, but the details have not been known until now. Anyway a long time ago we talk about the construction of the auditorium in the campus and the cafeteria, but as it has already been said the details of the visitor center were not yet known.

When the project is completed, the new campus will feature a main building of more than Sqm 260.000 in the shape of a ring, some 628 underground parking spaces, a 9300-square-meter gym and a 1000-seat auditorium with 1150 square meters for holding events and visits within the center.
