The iMac Pro is also renewed along with the 27 ″ iMac

iMac Pro

The news regarding the renewal of the 27-inch iMac does not come alone. The iMac Pro has also received an update worth mentioning. It may not be as spectacular as the younger brother's, but it is important enough. The base model iMac Pro now includes a 10-core Intel Xeon processor, but unfortunately, the iMac Pro misses out on the new nano-texture glass option.

We win in processor, which really is what matters. We lose in construction materials. But I really don't know to what extent we can miss nano-textured glass. With today's changes, Apple has completely removed the 8-core iMac Pro from the lineup and lowered the 10-core iMac Pro to that spot instead. This means that the base model iMac Pro now features a 10-core Xeon processor, but it can still be configured up to 18 cores.

This is logical, since last year's iMacs already outperformed the iMac Pro. The iMac line ends at 10 cores and the iMac Pro line starts at that same number. Now, as we told you, does not come with nano texture glass and it is not an option. That is, we cannot add it as an additional option even if we want to. Something that does happen in the iMac and the Pro Display XDR.

In this manner The renewal of Apple's iMac models is complete. On the one hand, the new 27-inch iMac with all the features that we have already told you about. On the other hand we have the older brother, at least in terms of processors, who has also wanted to take a step forward to claim his power and greatest strength. With these changes, the differences between the two models are marked a little more.
