Since the final version of macOS Mojave was released publicly, many news and tutorials have been published related to this new version of Apple's operating system for Mac. Since the launch of macOS Mojave, users of the version iTunes with access to the App Store we have seen how we could not install this version.
As we published a week ago, the version of iTunes with access to the App Store is not compatible with macOS, which forced us to wait for an update from Apple, an update that has finally arrived but unfortunately, still not compatible with the latest version of macOS available on the market.
After updating the application, reaching version 12.6.5, Apple has added new information, in which it states that this new update not compatible with the new version of macOS Mojave, which makes us doubt that Apple will ever intend to extend the compatibility of this special version of iTunes for educational centers and business environments.
We can also read like Apple It only offers support for the latest version of iTunes, so if we want to continue making use of this special version with access to the App Store, we will not have help from Apple at any time.
Access to the App Store disappeared from iTunes in September of the year past, forcing users who want to search for applications, buy or download them to do so directly on their mobile devices. Corporate customers can install applications on their terminals without having to use iTunes, but some organizations want to be able to do so as before for security and privacy reasons.
While it is true that the new App Store is very good, it is not the same to be able to search through iTunes comfortably in front of our team than to do it on the screen of our device. But it is what it is, and unless corporate and business clients express the urgent need to have a version of iTunes with access to the App Store, we can forget about it.
