Latest MacBook Pro Retina suffer from keyboard issues and Boot Camp crashes

Macbook-retina-2013-problems-0

It seems that history repeats itself as it happened in June with the new MacBook Air presented at WWDC and its problems with the Wi-Fi connection, flickering ... and it is that Apple is 'complicating' things with its latest launches since a significant number of users are reporting problems in relation to keyboard freezes and failed installations of Windows 8 / 8.1 with BootCamp when using your newly purchased MacBook Pro Retina.

It should be clarified that keyboard crashes only occur with the 13 ″ version and not in the 15 ″ version, however the failures with BootCamp occur in both cases indifferently.

As reported in a thread of more than 16 pages on the Apple support forums are quite a few users of these MacBooks that say that the Trackpad randomly hangs during use and that the only way to restore it is to restart the computer. They even talk about resetting the system management controller (SMC) also having no effect.

In other different thread It also specifies the problem of Windows installations with Boot Camp with freezes when starting to install windows both with USB and with a DVD and external SuperDrive drive. Still, Apple is expected to release an EFI update for these computers in order to fix the bug.

There is still no evidence if these errors are hardware related that the MacBook have mounted or if on the contrary it is a simple software problem that can be solved by updating. We will see how Apple responds to this situation.

I find it shameful that a company like Apple allows itself to produce products with such huge flaws when they have always been a symbol of quality. I recently considered buying a Macbook Pro but I am not willing to spend € 2000 on a computer that fails fresh out of the factory when it is supposed to have passed the exhaustive quality controls that the Cupertino company boasts so much. And the failures of the iPhone 5S more of the same ... a terminal that is around € 800 with a fault in the accelerometer? It is not logical and for the record that I am not against Apple but you have to know how to be critical and if a person is willing to spend a certain sum of money on a quality product, it should be from the first moment of purchase.

All companies, even large companies, have worse flaws, but as Apple is currently the focus to follow, they criticize even the smallest thing that can come out, but if you see other brands they have more flaws, but they don't fix it or you they change it for another like apple.

It should be noted just in case 🙂, I'm not a fanboy, I have both macs, such as hp, acer, alienware, and pc. but you have to see all the points without being a fan.

My comment has not been a fan at all, of course other companies have flaws but perhaps they do not have the image of exclusivity and quality that Apple tries to pretend. In addition, you speak of small failures when the proper functioning of the trackpad and the keyboard is essential in a computer, or are you capable of using a computer without a keyboard or mouse? Because I am not ... As for your argument from others such as others The saying occurs to me: Evil of others, consolation of fools. I have commented on a serious problem that Apple has with its latest products, we must not look away and even less with the high prices that the apple company puts. You have to be consistent and recognize that such expensive products should not come out with such fat factory failures, whether made by Apple, Asus, Samsung, HP or whoever. All the best
