The LG Ultrafine 5k will be available to ship from March 9

Apple's commercial agreement with LG to jointly manufacture a 5k resolution monitor to replace the Thunderbolt Display that the Cupertino-based company recalled earlier this year has given Apple more problems than it could. wait. To start the official launch date it had to be delayed for several months due, apparently, to problems with the production of the model with 5k resolution and it was not available for shipment until mid-December. Shortly after its launch, many users reported experiencing interference problems when a Wi-Fi router or modem was near it.

Apparently and after a user's investigation, LG officially confirmed that the problem was due to the fact that the device did not have the necessary coating, and mandatory in this type of devices, to prevent electromagnetic signals from interfering with the signal. Once it had recognized the problem, LG withdrew from sale all models with 5k resolution on the market, calling all users who had problems with this model, to take it to the technical service so that they could replace it with another or add the coating necessary.

After detecting this problem, LG stopped the production of this model and recalled all the models that were pending shipment to customers. A month later, the Korean firm already has the new stock ready to start shipping the device to customers who had reserved it and to replace the models that customers had sent to technical service. The new expected shipping date is March 9, and I say expected date, because this date may arise some delay, something that unfortunately Apple has gotten us used to in recent times.
