This week one of the largest gaming-related fairs in all of Spain is being held in the city of Barcelona, specifically we are talking about the Barcelona Games World (BGW) organized by the Spanish Association of Videogames (AEVI) and Fira de Barcelona. In it you can see all kinds of games for consoles, events, news, computers and everything related to this sector.
As it cannot be otherwise, you have to know how to differentiate between the uses of current computers and a PC prepared for Gaming is not the same as a normal PC. On the other hand, in the Mac field there is no such difference and although it is true that several of the best game titles - such as Formula 1 2017 - are being carried for Mac users, the difference is still very large today.
In particular we are talking about the industry of computers created to play and is that in the BGW We were able to see first-hand everything related to current gaming, video cards, boards, etc. Leaving aside the great variety and power of consoles for this sector of video games, PCs are still light years from Macs.
Apple does not bet on games either and its users already know that buying a Mac to play is not an option, as we said at the beginning it is important to see that there are moves with featured titles that even match up for PC and Mac gamers, but to this day the difference is still quite clear.
Anyone who wants a gaming computer already knows that he does not have to look at Apple and not at a cheap PC, since a normal and current PC would not be within the parameters necessary for gaming. It is also impossible to adapt an Apple computer with new graphics or improve the rest of the components in the future to adapt to the graphic needs of games, but in low-cost PCs it is not viable either.
Some of the towers or teams that we saw at the BGW were huge and evidently dedicated exclusively to games, This is something Apple has never gotten into and we doubt it will. It is no longer the difference in power between Macs and PCs, it is that some are dedicated exclusively and add brands for it, while the others remain on the sidelines.
