The Morning Show, one of Apple's most important bets for its streaming video service, has just received a new award, which it would be the second in the series and its new commitment to the world of services. The award has gone to Jennifer Aniston.
At the 26th Annual Screen Actors Guild (SAG) Awards in Los Angeles, the actress Jennifer Aniston won the SAG Award for Leading Performance in a Drama Series for her starring role as the morning news anchor on The Morning Show.
This is the first SAG that the actress wins in a dramatic role. In 1996 she won the SAG award for best comedy actress for the series Friends. To win the Best Actress in a Drama Award at the 26th SAG Awards, Aniston has faced Helena Bonham Carter ("The Crown"), Olivia Colman ("The Crown"), Jodie Comer ("Killing Eve") and Elisabeth Moss ("The Handmaid's Tale").
A few days ago, Aniston wasn't so lucky and could not win the award for best actress in a drama in the past Golden Globes, an award to which his co-star Reese Witherspoon was also nominated, who also did not win.
