ASUS launched a new all-in-one at the IFA in Berlin and this comes directly to compete with the Apple iMac how well they scored in the presentation. It is a PC with good specifications that has a 23,8 inch panel and we have another option available with a slightly smaller size, 21,5 inches. In the case of the 23,8-inch model we find a camera with Intel technology called RealSense 3D, which means for all those who do not know, that the new 23,8-inch Zen AiO S (the 21,5 ″ model does not have it) has a camera capable of capturing gestures and facial recognition to identify ourselves before machine. This is something that I would undoubtedly like Apple to implement in the next generations of Mac or at least incorporate Touch ID for greater security and comfort when using the equipment
But we put aside a bit what we would like Apple to add to its future Macs and focus on these new Zen AiO S and their specifications. Obviously it is available with several different internal hardware configurations, plus it comes with a iMac-like profile at just 6mm thick.
- 23,8 inch 4k UHD screen
- I7-6700T, i5-6400T or i3-6100T processor
- 8, 16 or 32 GB of DDR4 RAM
- Graphics GTX960M of 1, 2 or 4 GB respectively
- 1TB with 128GB or 512GB SSD, 2GB M.512 PCIe next-generation SSD, or 1TB 8GB hybrid memory in flash format
- Integrated 16W speakers
- Total weight of 7,3 kilos approx
- Windows 10 operating system
- One USB 3.1 Gen 2 port, one HDMI 2.0 port, four USB 3.0 ports, one USB 2.0 port, and one USB Type-C port
And most importantly, the price of these all-in-one than for the most basic configuration with a 23,8 ″ screen i5 8Gb of RAM and 1 TB the price reaches 1.o99 euros and in the somewhat more powerful version with 23,8 ″ 4K i7 processor, 16 GB of RAm and 2 TB of disk space reaches 1.499 euros. On availability we will be awaiting it, but for the moment it seems that it would not take long to be available in Europe.
To finish I leave you the question in case you plan to buy a computer of this type all-in-one, Would you choose one of these ASUS or an iMac?
imac forever
.. and it's a cheap copy of an iMac ..
Tell me Diego, please, what has an iMac of innovation in your Hardware ?. I tell you ... nothing !!! Removing its operating system that adapts very well to the hardware because they are the ones that do everything; the difference is nothing more than the punch you get from the brand.
I would choose the asus and become a hackintosh. Only that before you would have to see the price this and an equivalent imac, which is strange not to put.
I rectify, there I saw the price, almost half of an Imac with the same benefits.
good for me it's 100% better it's imac, vote for the exact colors
