The new iPhone 6S are somewhat thicker and heavier

Another of the rumors that also reached our blog was related to the general size of the new iPhone 6S and it is true that the two models have undergone changes compared to the current version, not only in the size of the device but also in its weight. Apple uses for these new iPhone 6S and 6S Plus a reinforced aluminum (7000 series) so that they do not suffer from the so-called "bendgate" and this together with other reasons causes them to be somewhat larger, but also heavier. 

Nor are we going to create an alarm about it and it is that these new iPhone 6S are still really thin and light, but they lose some of it because of these changes, such as the implementation of the Taptic Engine and the thicker aluminum of its case. This image shows the specifications of the different models of iPhone 6, iPhone 6 Plus, iPhone 6S and iPhone 6S Plus, in it we can see that the new iPhone 6S are larger and somewhat heavier, but in a maximum of 20gr for the 6S Plus model:

Apple implements new hardware inside that, in addition to the reinforced aluminum in the case, increases the overall weight a bit, but I already said that it is not a conclusive fact how not to buy these new iPhone 6S.
