The new Mac Pro is taken to the extreme in Final Cut Pro X

The official Final Cut Pro X blog, FCP.co, has carried out a series of benchmark tests we could say to try to get the colors out of the new Mac Pro under extreme conditions working with Final Cut Pro so the extremely powerful hardware of this great little monster has been pushed to the limit.

In the first test what is done is add clips in 4K format connected one at the top and the other at intervals along frame "1". This was done until 1600 clips were connected to later make a video and obtain results with the same test but with 1000 clips and see how the type holds during the first 50 frames although from there a loss of performance is appreciated with a slight drop in frames.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=a9cPY_PM4FwLos formatos de imagen que se usaron fueron un tanto extraños pero en los que el objetivo fue test hardware in relation to the program. Due to this, the project that was exported was 500.000 pixels wide by 1080 high.

The final test was insane and it consisted of seeing how long a Timeline could be created within FinalCut. Therefore, a 558-day Timeline was made, which ended choking on the Mac Pro, in a specific search within such a long timeline, first losing frames and then staying 'hung' which was said to be more of a limitation of the hardware than of the software itself. http://www.youtube.com/watch? v = vlRbKXUM5NU In general it can be seen that the Mac Pro is above any other consumer equipment that Apple is marketing but that it is not exempt from limitations although in reality few 'real' scenarios can be given as those carried out in the tests .
