The operator Verizon offers 4 months of free subscription to Apple Music

Spotify has always been harshly criticized for its way of capturing the attention of new users, a formula that has undoubtedly allowed it to reach 60 million users, while the most direct competition, Apple Music, is close to 30 million, 27 to be exact. But Spotify is not the only streaming service that tries to capture the interest of users interested in streaming music, since Apple also offers different offers to save a few euros at the end of the year, or even at the end of the month if sign up for Apple Music. To continue promoting your music streaming service, Apple has reached an agreement with Verizon to reward its users with Apple Music for free.

Verizon offers a points program based on the accumulated telephone spending that users have, a program that until not long ago was also available in Spain. This points program gives access to the Up Members with which Verizon wants to reward users who spend the most in your company. Among the different options that we currently offer we find a free four-month subscription to Apple Music for all users who are not yet customers from Apple's streaming music service.

However, those who already are, can only claim one month of free subscription. But Verizon also offers discounts on monthly fees for Amazon Prime Video, HBO Now and discounts on concert tickets, Broadway plays and SuperBowl tickets. Once the necessary points are reached, Verizon only gives users 60 days to redeem points obtained by any of the different promotions offered by the company.

Verizon It is not the only phone company that has used the pretext of Apple Music to try to win new users. Previously, Telstra of Australia, T-Mobile in Germany or EE of the United Kingdom have also made similar offers, after reaching different agreements with Apple in this regard.
