Could the redesign of Apple's website mean a switch from aluminum to liquid metal?

As you know, Apple's website and online store were redesigned a couple of days ago to add an iOS-like look and a dark navigation bar.

The resemblance to iOS implies an approach to Lion, Apple's next operating system, but what about the color change? According to the blogosphere this could give us a clue that Apple may be ditching aluminum in its products in favor of Liquid Metal.

This would not be far-fetched since Apple has the patent and this material is lighter and has better properties than aluminum.

Will we see some renewed MacBook Pro with the aesthetics of the one that appears in the image?
