On the rumors of the new MacBook Pro coming later this year

macbook-pro-3

Today and after seeing various rumors throughout the year about the changes to the MacBook Pros expected to arrive this year, the analyst specializing in Apple Ming-Chi Kuo, warns that we are going to see an important change in the new MacBook Pro. The truth is that rumors about the novelties of these Apple machines have been planning for a long time, but in this case and after reading the article released by our partner Pedro Rodas, in which he warns us of the possible novelties that this new MacBook Pro launched during the third or fourth quarter of the year, we see some really important changes how not to talk about it ...

As Jack the Ripper said, let's go in parts. The first thing is that the changes at the internal hardware level are evident and these new MacBook Pro will mount the Intel's latest and most powerful Skylake series processors. In addition to these new processors that add RAM, they come with the new AMD GPUs, they touch up the capacity of the storage disks, there is talk of possible use of the butterfly keyboard used in the 12 ″ MacBook, maybe usb-c / thunderbolt3 , the rose gold color in this product line and maybe even the camera that these teams mount is improved in this version. But the thing is not left here since the software that will be presented to us at WWDC 2016 will be more efficient and together with this hardware it can lead to outstanding improvements in the new MacBook Pro.

MacBook Pro

It is true that rumors from months ago say that this new MacBook Pro is going to be thinner that the current versions and surely that the hinge between the screen and the base of the Mac will become the same as that found in the 12 ″ MacBook, thereby achieving a more stylized and thinner set. This if I see it feasible and I believe that thinness is something that designers and manufacturers have in their mind for new equipment.

About OLED touch screen Well personally and if it is not for very specific functions I do not see it clear since they are a new technology for Apple despite adding them to the Apple Watch, and logically the difference in sizes between the two is more than evident. Without a doubt, it may be that by 2017 if we end up seeing this type of screen in MacBook but I don't think they will start using it in Pro this year. Apple has been researching and improving its Retina displays for a long time by adding this type of screen in the 27-inch iMac with a spectacular result and adding an OLED panel which is also said to be available in the iPhone of 2017, I do not see it from the all clear and you?

Finally I want to think that if we are going to have a Touch ID sensor on Mac. This may be somewhat easier to implement on a Mac than we think and Apple may already be prepared to make the leap to Macs with this security method that I personally always use. The truth is that its implementation on a Mac can add convenience and added security to the user to access applications with password, payments on the network and more, in addition to being used for the login.

I have more and more desire for the WWDC 2016 initial keynote to see if they show us these renewed MacBooks. If presented at the keynote that starts the developers conference, I am almost convinced that they would not be launched until the third or fourth quarter of 2016. Obviously if the changes are so significant, how does this KGI analyst and the rest of the rumors point out? We have seen during these months, if on the contrary there are no such powerful design changes and focus on the internal hardware, the new MacBook Pro will arrive much earlier than we imagine.

And you, What do you think of all this? Does it touch an aesthetic change in the MacBook Pro or not? OLED or Retina display?

I don't really like the planned changes. Apple bets on increasingly fine designs, when macbook pro users what we want are features. Good for ports and good battery. I've been waiting a few months for the new model to come out and in the end I think I'm going to buy the old one. They have been putting it off for a long time and also the rumors are not cool at all.

That the user can perform RAM and hard disk extensions is the key. If they keep soldering the components to the board they will keep losing user base. As nice as they paint it if the computer is going to be operational for three or four years, instead of six or seven, most of the people will not continue to buy Macs, and more so in countries like Spain.

Man, if you add all those improvements to the MacBook Pro and its price remains, it can be interesting, the issue is that today the MacBook Pro has an old processor and the price has not dropped anything (as always in Apple) something Which makes me point out to everyone who asks me to wait to buy this rumored new MacBook Pro.

Soldering components on the board is something that has no reverse gear. This is partly due to the miniturization of components where ports and connectors are eliminated to save space, which we talk about thinning the products ...

But with the current price, a Mac with these improvements would be totally recommended, I think 🙂

A Mac is always recommended, but what I am saying is that if the components cannot be updated, it will be a recommendation that many people will ignore. And many of them experienced users, for whom a Mac was a more expensive product but that lasted much longer than a PC and therefore squared the investment.

Regarding welding components, it is illogical that there are no alternatives. The excuse, yes, is that we have to slim down the size of laptops, but it seems that if we swallow that, Apple's benefits multiply, at the cost of doubling our spending. And if that is the excuse in macbooks, what is the reason for doing it in all iMac except the top of the range? Can't technologies be developed to give back to the customer some control over what they buy, or is there no intention? Should it be mandatory to pay Apple when buying the equipment for extensions four times the market price? There, it is no longer a company that is selling you things, but is imposing them on you, providing you with a product that purposely takes away chances to earn even more money. And it is very seen. It's called "planned obsolescence" and it consists of selling equipment with an expiration date so that things that could last longer, last less, and the user pays twice.
