The sale of traditional watches decreases

The Apple Watch continues to raise all kinds of opinions but what is clear is that it is selling well. A study carried out by Bloomberg last June reveals that sales of the conventional watch has been reduced by 14% which means the biggest drop in watch sales in the last seven years. Obviously many will say that the Apple Watch is the main responsible for this decline, but it is clear that the launch of smart watches that work with Android or even with both operating systems, are also "partly to blame" in this decline in sales of the traditional clocks.

The staging of the Apple Watch did nothing more than accentuate or highlight the existence of this type of smart watches and this is possibly what has marked the decline in sales for others conventional watches. 

It is true that the Apple Watch is not seen on the wrists of all those who have an iPhone or Android Wear in those who use a device with the Google operating system, but it is true that little by little these types of watches are seen more and more and this must be noticed by traditional watchmakers who must put the batteries and launch your own smart watches to compete with 'this new device' that is gaining more and more ground in the market.

Many are the occasions that we look back in time and we look at the launch of the personal computer, the smartphone and other devices, we would never have imagined how far they are going. Smartwatches seem to be heading in this same direction and what may now seem somewhat strange in the crowd, we are sure that they will eventually prevail over the traditional watch.
