The Guardian publication has revealed different documented evidence that confirm the existence of Apple's Titan project or better known as Apple's future car project. According to those documents, Apple has been in contact with the GoMentum station, a testing and research facility built on the site of a naval base in San Francisco.

This facility has more than 32 kilometers of paved roads, overpasses, streets and paths, which are not only closed to the public but is also a protected area by the US military. This R&D center has specialized in tests for plug-in vehicles and autonomous vehicles.

The Guardian obtained the documentation thanks to a public registry where Apple's request to participate in tests within this center.

According to the documentation, an Apple engineer named Frank Fearon wrote:

«We would like to have the opportunity to achieve a global view of the availability of space in the center, since it is necessary to coordinate other areas that we could use […] We are waiting to see a presentation of the proving ground with its design, photos and a description of how various test areas could be used in this area. "

At this point it must be clarified that although the rumors point to a car project made by Apple, it is no less true that the tests can be directed to a self-navigation system that would be implemented in various car models without having to be a specific one created by Apple, but rather that it would be testing an autonomous self-driving system .
