After unboxing one of the new iMac and putting it on my desk, I started looking for an accessory to help me organize the space I have, since as we all know this new iMac lacks built-in DVD reader-writer and I had to purchase it separately from the equipment.
The problem comes when we connect it to the iMac and it stays to one side, breaking the aesthetics that a computer gives that has been designed to be the only protagonist of our work table (without being the keyboard, the magic mouse or the magic trackpad) .
The Stashboard is a very practical simple deck measuring 170 x 90 x 190mm and has been designed to look like a continuation of the iMac design. As we can see in the images, the platform with a minimalist and transparent design is made of transparent polycarbonate. Using a soft rubber coating, the platform can be firmly anchored to the hole in the rear pedestal of the iMac, leaving the mount well located under the screen. In it we can place the DVD reader-writer, a Time Capsule or any other device that we need to locate.
Stashboard is priceless yet, but that's something we can help decide. On the promotion website, in addition to being able to follow the creation process in which users have participated, we can recommend a price. The final result of the voting will decide, apart from the price, the quality that the accessory will have.
There are other options already for sale from this same company such as bag 2.
