Has the Titan project come to a standstill?

It seems that every beginning of the year we have to talk about the Titan project that Apple is working on in order to launch an electric car on the market in 2019. Based on rumors, around 1.000 engineers are working on this project, many of them from companies in the automation sector such as Ford and Tesla, or from companies like Samsung and HP. But it seems that Apple is not happy with the progress of the Titan project and for the moment they have stopped hiring more staff, according to AppleInsider.

It seems that the guys from Cupertino have realized that entering a market that they do not control is more difficult than they thought, as the president of General Motors already commented a few months ago and who was criticized for those statements. John Ive has received a report on the progress being made in this project and it seems that nothing has been satisfied with the results, It could be a complete restructuring of the project, and the first step would be to blame the project manager Steve Zadesky.

Zadesky announced a few days ago that he was leaving the company due to personal problems, problems that might have to do with the decisions that John Ive wants to make and that Zadesky is not willing to second, so either Zadesky has resigned his position voluntarily or John Ive has been commissioned to fire him.

The electric vehicle firm Tesla, was born out of nowhere without having any experience in the automation sector in 2003 and it was not until 2008 that it launched the first fully electric vehicle, but unlike Apple, Tesla Motor is a company created to manufacture automobiles, not like Apple whose production has always been based on the manufacture of electronic devices.
