The most watched YouTube video, Despacito, was edited with Final Cut Pro

It is more than likely that you are up to the top of your nose after having listened to the song Despacito this past summer in each and every one of the parties you have attended because you do not count the number of times it has been played at your usual drinking spot.

This song, which for a few months has become the most played video on YouTube and currently has more than 4.000 million views, was edited and recorded in just one day. But what is striking is that Final Cut Pro was used for its editing.

As I mentioned above, the most played video in the history of YouTube was recorded in La Perla, by the company FCP.co, and has the presence of Miss Universe Zuleyka Rivera. The video was edited at Elastic People's studios in Miami just one day after its recording with Final Cut Pro X. All video was recorded at 60fps in 4K quality to later be able to reduce the movement in some parts of the video as you may have seen if you have ever seen the video.

Elastic Studios adopted the Apple ecosystem in 2015, according to its CEO Carlos Prez. This company actively collaborates in different productions as in advertisements from Bacardi, Harley-Davidson, Nike, Pepsi, HBO, Sony, Columbia, ABC and Toyota among others.

Just 6 months after its release, it slowly became the most popular song in history, with 4.600 billion views across all streaming services. The song reached # 100 on the Billboard Top 16 in the United States and stayed there for 26 weeks. On September XNUMX, "Despacito" was nominated for four Latin Grammy Awards, including Best Music Video.
