The works of the Apple Store of the university campus of Seattle nearing completion

The number of Apple Stores that Apple has around the world, surpassed half a thousand at the beginning of the year, and the number continues to grow. Of all the Apple Stores that are scheduled to open in the coming months, the one we find at the University of Seattle stands out, a city where Apple you are looking for facilities to create a new campus, just like Amazon.

Since the works began, at the beginning of last year, the construction process has been evolving and today we can see not only how it will be on the outside, but also how will the interior layout be from the Village Green, a former Seattle University parking lot that will be converted into a new Apple Store.

As reported by the Seattle News last year, this new Apple Store of about 4.000 square meters, it would have a commercial surface just over half of the total surface. In a new photo posted on Reddit, we can see a clearer view of what the store layout will look like. In this image we can see a central area for the public, just below the cantilever that gives access to the store, whose facade is made of glass. We can also see the corresponding access ramps.

The front and rear walls are staggered dividing the building into several open areas, as well as showing access to a basement. The walls of the building are covered in Moca Creme, a limestone of Portuguese origin. The design of this new Apple Store, which is again under the architectural firm Foster + Partners, follows the same line as the Apple Stores that have been recently renovated, where we can find wooden ceilings and large light panels, which allow lighting practically the entire store without having to use artificial light.
