Despite all the rumors that Apple could completely eliminate the Air range of MacBooks, the Cupertino-based company has presented the long-awaited renewal of this range, a renewal that everything seemed to indicate that it would not come due to the launch of the 12-inch model three years ago.
As we have seen in the presentation, the new Air range is more powerful and smaller than the veteran model that Steve Jobs presented, taking it out of a folio-size envelope a decade ago. This model was the entry range to Apple's MacBook, with a price that did not reach 1000 euros, but with the renovation, things have changed. Here we show you the prices of the new MacBook Air 2018 range.
The MacBook Air has been completely revamped, both inside and out, offering us a 13,3-inch screen and standing halfway between the 13-inch and 15-inch Pro range. A curious note that once again demonstrates Apple's concern for the environment, we find it in that all the aluminum used in the manufacture of the case comes from recycled material.
The entry model in the MacBook Air range offers 8 GB of RAM, Intel's Core i5 processor and 128 GB of SSD storage. Its price is $1.349.
MacBook Air with 8GB of RAM, 256GB of SSD storage and Intel i5 processor, goes up to 1.599 euros.
The new MacBook Air range can be pre-ordered today and the first shipments will be made on November 7.
There is only 8 GB of RAM?
That is the price of the basic model. RAM can be expanded up to 16GB only.
