Things 3.5 is here, further improving task management

Things wants to become the quintessential macOS task manager and at least tries every update, with the permission of OmniFocus. With the arrival of version 3.5 we see improvements in the Mac application and these are quickly moved to the iOS version. The application takes into account the opinion of users to add improvements.

In addition to the news that we will see below, Things brings the well-known performance and tagging tweaks and improvements among other options. We also see aesthetic improvements, which is the main virtue of this task manager compared to its competition. It is appreciated such a neat interface.

At least 29 new features we will see in this new version. One of the most demanded by users is the possibility of quickly hide tasks, in a particularly long project list. The developers have placed a button right next to the titles, to hide tasks or make them visible.

Another relevant function in this version is the possibility to customize the menu bar, easily from the options. It's a customization step, but maybe it's a small thing. Allows you to relocate controls but not add new ones.

Although it is not new to macOS, it is new to iOS, but it is worth highlighting. Is the possibility to drag an item (emails, Contacts, documents) to the application and quickly create a new task with the inserted documents. But we must know that these files are not synchronized in the iOS version, they will only be available in the Mac version.

Another feature that is incorporated into version 3.5. is the option to copy and paste many tasks at the same time. If we have a list of actions to perform and we copy all of them at once, when copying and pasting in Things, a task will be created for each of the lines of text.

Things can be downloaded from Mac App Store for € 54,99. It is possible to test the application for 15 days to see if its contribution is relevant in our day to day.
