This could be the iPhone 7 case

During the last days we have been attending a whole shower of images about the next iPhone 7. Photographs of the box that will include it, of the technical specification sheet, and even a video. However, in all cases, either they have been proven false, or they come from sources of questionable reliability.

Now, on the contrary, the guys at Apple Insider have given enough credibility to some images received that show the iPhone 7 box and with it, some of its specifications.

Again, the iPhone 7 case reveals some secrets

Images of the alleged box for the next iPhone 7 were sent to Apple Insider on Thursday. In them it can be seen that it is a model of 256 GB storage internal. This is one of the main rumors that we have been hearing for the last few weeks. Apple could make the jump to this capacity, although perhaps it could do so with only one of the models, the 5,5-inch iPhone. But now we see the smaller phone, so this capacity, always in theory, would not be exclusive to the 7-inch iPhone 5,5 Plus.

On the other hand, like other images leaked also last Thursday, these photographs "confirm" that Wireless AirPods are included with the phone. The difference, once again, is that in this case we are dealing with a 7 ”iPhone 4,7. Thus, these new bluetooth headphones would not be exclusive to the expected iPhone 7 Plus.

Doubts, many doubts

From Apple Insider they point out that only one of the images has a clear focus. And while the "AirPods" are mentioned as included, the hypothetical 3,5mm jack to Lightning adapter is not mentioned in the box specifications.

Although from the web they define these filtered images as the most reliable, they also question their authenticity due to different aspects. So, the back we see of the box is clearly a sticker placed on the original packaging. Recently, Apple has started to print the details directly on the back of the terminal box, and not using a sticker as with the iPhone 6.

In addition to this, the text that appears above the label is centered. This contrasts with the packaging of the iPhone 6 and iPhone 6s, always justified to the left.

And by continuing to find more shows that lead us to suspicion, the latest iPhone models do not include the large product name on top of the box, as shown in this latest iPhone 7 leak from Russia.

However, it is also true that in the past, some Apple products have centered the text and have also included the name of the product in large printed on the back of the box. Examples are the iPad mini 2 and, more recently, the Apple Watch.

We are expectant

Regardless, Apple is expected to unveil its next smartphones during the special event on Wednesday, September 7.

Far from what a few weeks ago it might seem, everything indicates that it will be a fairly complete event in which we could see:

  • New iPhone 7
  • New iPhone 7 Plus with dual lens camera
  • Headphones AirPods?
  • New Beats products.
  • Apple Watch 2 with a thinner screen, same design, barometer, GPS and larger battery capacity.
  • We will also know the release date of all the new operating systems: iOS 10, macOS Sierra, watchOS 3 and tvOS 10

Whether or not the images shown are true, in less than a week we will clear all our doubts, including those related to the second generation Apple Watch. At Applelizados we are already preparing for it. If the event catches you away from home, you can follow Apple Keynote live through a special post. And once finished, we will bring you all the news in a series of special posts. Do not miss it.
