The return to class is coming up and just like here in the US, everyone is preparing for this arrival with the start of the new school year. Apple knows that education is a very important pillar in the formation of new generations and that is why it plans to announce a new educational program that aims to "end the digital divide that exists in public schools in the United States."

This new plan will be released tomorrow morning on Good Morning America of the ABC network, which will broadcast an exclusive interview with Apple CEO Tim Cook to discuss this latest initiative related to education that the company plans to launch.

Apple already participates in an educational program directly connected to the White House. Through the initiative, Apple has issued numerous scholarships that support educational programs using technology in all 114 schools in all 29 states. Since last fall, Apple's involvement has been teaching Macs, iPads, and even Apple TV at chosen schools as part of a $ 100 million commitment.

The person in charge in this area within Apple, Lisa Jackson, leads the participation of the company exercising his position as vice president of Environment, Social Policies and Initiatives.

Here in Spain there are already "private" schools that use the iPad as one more educational tool to be able to teach through new technologies and in turn better capture the student's attention on the subject matter that is exposed. However, Apple wants to improve that by expanding the possibilities of its other products as we can see in the image above, where the interview it will take place in a classroom full of iMacs.
