Tip: Enable the "Library" folder in Lion

NewImage

Apple is trying to make Mac OS X Lion as simple as possible, and in a somewhat incorrect decision from my point of view they have decided to hide the «Library» folder, although if you have your Mac in Spanish you may see it as «Library».

This luckily - and because OS X is based on UNIX - can be changed very easily. Just enter Terminal and put this command to show the folder:

chflags nohidden ~ / Library /

Or this one to hide it again:

chflags hidden ~ / Library /

Remember that Lion almost certainly leaves on July 14, so a little trick to warm up the output.
